Call for Presentations

The Nigerian Network Operators Group (ngNOG) invites applications from persons, associations and organizations who wish to contribute to, or make a presentation, or chair a panel discussion at the 2nd ngNOG Meeting and Conference scheduled to hold at the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) on 23rd and 24th November 2007.

Background

ngNOG is organising a 6-day event that includes the ngNOG Workshop on Network Technology (offering advanced training in a four-day long hands-on workshop) and a two-day ngNOG Meeting and Conference. Further information and background about the event may be found here

Information on Hotel accommodation and specific venue of the Workshop and Meetings at the Bayero University Kano, will be published in due course.

How to apply

You are invited to express interest in making a presentation, or chairing a panel discussion at the ngNOG Meeting and Conference by submitting a proposal not later than Saturday 3rd November 2007.

We ask that the following information be sent in an email message to ngnog-presentations@abuja.forum.org.ng

- speaker/presenter name and affiliation,
- email address and phone number,
- nature of the proposal (conference presentation, or panel discussion),
- proposed title,
- requested time allocation (for conference presentations or panel discussions: 10 minutes to 1hour, including discussions).
- an abstract of no more than 200 words, and
- permission to reproduce your presentation after the event, including permission to post it on the ngNOG site.

We also welcome suggestions and expressions of interest, even if you don't have all the above information.
