The just concluded 3rd edition of the Nigeria network operator group workshop and meeting hosted by the university of lagos was an eye opener for us network interns and particularly me as a self confessed network enthusiast.My passion for networking, elicited the momment i took a course in it has now grown beyond the frontiers of the university of lagos to include a life long career path that i have already chossen without any doubt whatsoever.When the hosting of this edition was granted unilag,i saw it as one of the series of first steps i needed to expose myself to a wider view.The 5-day workshop saw me see networking from a wider, more detailed perspective,and the 2-day conference saw me see the synegy of the public and private sectors in networking and i was not disappointed at all with my experience of the event.Now that the workshop and meetings are over, the lessons learnt must not die.I intend to be a strong advocate and participant in carrying the gains of ngNOG further.I
